The things our guests ask most, from check-in times to pets and powered sites. Anything else, just ask.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00pm for accommodation and from 2:00pm for camp sites. Check-out is by 10 AM. Arriving late? Let us know and we will arrange after-hours access so you can settle straight in.
Are pets welcome at Sundale?
Dogs are welcome on Camp Sites and in the Caravan Retreat, on lead inside the park. Mora Motels, Ata Studios, LUMI Pods, Maru Cabins, Nordic Village and Arch Boats are dog-free for guests with allergies.
Do you have powered sites for campervans and caravans?
We do. Our powered Camp Sites suit campervans, caravans and motorhomes, with level ground, full hook-up and a dump station on site.
Is there a minimum stay over summer and ski season?
A two-night minimum applies over peak summer and the winter ski season. Outside those periods, single-night stays are welcome.
What facilities are shared across the park?
A communal kitchen, hot showers, guest laundry, free Wi-Fi, a seasonal swimming pool, a children's playground and the lounge and park shop, all there for every guest. Powered sites and a dump station serve campervans and caravans.
How close is Sundale to Lake Wānaka and the township?
It is a five-minute walk to the Lake Wānaka foreshore and a short drive into Wānaka township for cafes, shops and restaurants.
Can we book for a group of ten or more?
Yes, and we prefer a quick conversation first so we can put you in the right combination of cabins, sites and shared spaces. Send a note via the group bookings form and we will reply within a day.
