These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to all accommodation, campsite and related facility bookings and stays at Sundale Holiday Park & Retreat (“Sundale Holiday Park” or “the Park”).
By making a booking through our official website, by telephone, email, online travel agent (OTA) or any other booking channel, or by staying at Sundale Holiday Park, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to comply with these Terms, as well as the applicable rates, cancellation policy and any other special conditions provided to you at the time of booking.
If these Terms conflict with applicable New Zealand law, the applicable law will prevail.
Chapter 1 - Bookings and Payment
1.1 Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to confirmation by Sundale Holiday Park before they become effective.
Once your booking is confirmed, please carefully check the booking dates, number of guests, accommodation type, price and other booking details. If you identify any errors, please contact Sundale Holiday Park as soon as possible.
1.2 Lead Guest and Booking Responsibilities
The person making the booking is the Lead Guest for that booking. The Lead Guest is responsible for completing payment, ensuring that all booking information is accurate and complete, and informing all accompanying guests of these Terms and any other conditions applicable to the booking. The Lead Guest is also responsible for the conduct of accompanying guests and visitors associated with the booking while on the Park premises.
1.3 Booking Information
Guests must provide accurate, complete and truthful guest, contact and vehicle information when making a booking.
If any booking information changes, including the number of guests, number of vehicles, contact details or other important information, please notify Sundale Holiday Park as soon as possible.
1.4 Prices and Currency
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include applicable taxes.
Any applicable additional charges will be disclosed to the guest at the time of booking or before the charge is incurred.
Once a booking has been confirmed, the price applicable to that booking will be based on the price at the time of confirmation. Subsequent changes to published prices will not automatically affect confirmed bookings.
1.5 Payment
Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, all bookings must be paid in accordance with the payment conditions displayed at the time of booking.
A booking will be considered confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
1.6 Credit Card and Payment Fees
Payment by credit card or other payment methods may incur a processing fee. Any applicable fee will be clearly displayed to the guest before payment is made.
1.7 Online Payment and Third-Party Payment Processing
Online bookings and payments made through the Sundale Holiday Park website may be processed through the hosted booking system provided by RMS Cloud.
Card information is processed by the relevant payment system in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy policy. The Sundale Holiday Park website does not directly store guests’ full card details.
1.8 Failed Payment
If payment is declined, not completed, or the amount required for the booking is not paid within the specified time, Sundale Holiday Park reserves the right to cancel or release the booking.
1.9 Pricing or System Errors
If booking information is affected by a system failure, technical error, obvious pricing error, duplicate booking or other obvious error, Sundale Holiday Park will notify the guest as soon as reasonably practicable and may correct or cancel the affected booking.
If the booking is cancelled as a result, any payment already made will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law and the relevant payment conditions.
1.10 Peak Period Payment
Peak Period bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking, unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of booking.
1.11 Definition of Peak Period
The Peak Period includes:
1 December to 20 April each year; and
Dates designated as Peak Period by Sundale Holiday Park during New Zealand public holidays, long weekends and school holidays.
The specific applicable dates are determined by the Peak Period calendar and rate conditions published at the time of booking.
If a booking includes one or more Peak Period accommodation dates, the entire booking will be subject to the Peak Period cancellation policy, unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of booking.
Chapter 2 - Cancellation, Amendments and Refund Policy
2.1 Direct Bookings
The following cancellation, amendment and refund policy applies to bookings made directly through the official Sundale Holiday Park website.
Bookings made through OTAs or other third-party platforms are also subject to the cancellation and amendment conditions published by the relevant booking platform. Where the conditions of a third-party platform differ from these Terms, the specific conditions displayed to the guest at the time of booking and applicable to that booking will prevail.
2.2 Non-Peak Period Bookings
For bookings that do not include any Peak Period accommodation dates:
2.2.1 Full Payment
Non-Peak Period bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking.
2.2.2 Free Cancellation
Non-Peak Period bookings may be cancelled free of charge if the cancellation request is made at least 14 days before the scheduled check-in date.
2.2.3 Guest Portal Cancellation
Guests who are eligible for free cancellation may submit a cancellation request through the Guest Portal without paying a cancellation fee.
2.2.4 Cancellation by Staff
If a guest is eligible for free cancellation but requests Sundale Holiday Park staff to process the cancellation on their behalf, an administrative fee of NZD $25 will apply.
2.2.5 Cancellation Within 14 Days
If a booking is cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled check-in date, the booking payment is generally non-refundable.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to in writing by Sundale Holiday Park, refund requests arising from cancellations made during this period will not be accepted.
2.2.6 Amendments Within 14 Days
Requests to amend a Non-Peak Period booking, including changes to the check-in date, check-out date, length of stay, number of guests, accommodation type or other booking details, must be made at least 14 days before the original scheduled check-in date.
Amendment requests made within 14 days of the original scheduled check-in date will generally not be accepted.
2.3 Peak Period Bookings
2.3.1 Full Payment
Peak Period bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking.
2.3.2 No Cancellation, Amendments or Refunds
Once confirmed, Peak Period bookings cannot be cancelled, amended or refunded.
Except where otherwise required by applicable law, no refund will be provided for requests arising from cancellation, No-show, late arrival, early departure or unused nights of a Peak Period booking.
2.4 No-show
If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and has not cancelled the booking in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy, the booking will be treated as a No-show.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly provided under special conditions at the time of booking, No-show bookings are non-refundable, and any unused nights will not be refunded.
2.5 Late Arrival
If a guest arrives after the scheduled check-in date, this will be considered a late arrival.
Regardless of whether the booking falls within a Non-Peak Period or Peak Period, any unused nights resulting from a late arrival are generally non-refundable.
2.6 Early Departure
If a guest leaves before the scheduled check-out date, any unused nights are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Sundale Holiday Park or required by applicable law.
2.7 Amendments to Non-Peak Period Bookings
Subject to the timing requirements set out in clause 2.2, guests may request amendments to the check-in date, check-out date, length of stay, number of guests, accommodation type or other booking details.
All amendments are subject to availability and may result in a difference in price.
If an amendment increases the total booking amount, the guest must pay the applicable difference.
If an amendment reduces the number of nights, number of guests or total booking amount, the amendment may be treated as a partial cancellation and cancellation charges will apply in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy.
No amendment to a booking will take effect until it has been confirmed by Sundale Holiday Park.
2.8 How to Cancel or Amend a Booking
Direct Bookings
Guests who have made a booking directly through the official Sundale Holiday Park website should, where possible, use the Guest Portal to cancel their booking.
If the Guest Portal cannot be used, guests may contact Sundale Holiday Park for assistance.
OTA Bookings
Guests who have booked through Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb or another OTA should make cancellations or amendments through the original booking platform in accordance with its procedures.
2.9 Refunds
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
Administrative fees, bank fees, credit card processing fees and third-party payment processing fees are generally non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
The time required for a refund to be credited will depend on the processing time of the relevant bank, credit card issuer or payment service provider.
2.10 Travel Insurance
We recommend that guests consider purchasing appropriate travel insurance when making a booking to protect against cancellations for personal reasons, travel interruptions and other unforeseen circumstances.
Chapter 3 - Check-in and Check-out
3.1 Check-in Time
Standard check-in time is from 3:00 PM for accommodation units and from 2:00 PM for campsites.
3.2 Early Check-in
If you require early check-in, please submit a request to Reception in advance.
Early check-in is subject to the accommodation unit having been cleaned, room availability and the operational circumstances on the day, and cannot be guaranteed.
Early check-in is not available during the Peak Period.
3.3 Check-out Time
Standard check-out time is by 10:00 AM.
3.4 Late Check-out
If you require late check-out, you must apply to Reception in advance and obtain approval.
The approved late check-out fee is:
NZD $20 per hour
Any period of less than one hour will be charged as one full hour.
3.5 Latest Check-out Time
Accommodation units may be extended until 12:00 PM at the latest.
Campsites may be extended until 1:00 PM at the latest.
Late check-out is generally not available during the Peak Period.
3.6 Unauthorised Late Check-out
If a guest continues to occupy an accommodation unit or campsite beyond the specified check-out time without approval, Sundale Holiday Park reserves the right to charge the applicable late check-out fee and may also charge reasonable additional costs where the late check-out causes additional loss.
3.7 Use of Facilities After Check-out
After checking out, guests may not continue to enter accommodation areas or use Park facilities that are only available to current guests, unless otherwise approved by Sundale Holiday Park.
3.8 Special Room Requests
Requests made at the time of booking regarding room location, bed configuration or other special requirements are subject to availability. Unless expressly confirmed in writing by Sundale Holiday Park, such requests cannot be guaranteed.
3.9 Reception Hours
Reception is generally open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM during winter and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM during summer.
If you expect to arrive after Reception has closed, please contact Sundale Holiday Park in advance so that after-hours access can be arranged.
Chapter 4 - Occupancy and Visitors
4.1 Occupancy
The actual number of guests staying must not exceed the number confirmed in the booking or the maximum occupancy permitted for the relevant accommodation unit.
The maximum occupancy for each accommodation type is as shown on the relevant accommodation page and in the booking system.
4.2 Additional Guests
If you wish to add additional guests, please contact Sundale Holiday Park before arrival.
Additional guests are subject to the maximum occupancy of the accommodation unit and actual availability, and additional charges will apply.
If additional guests stay without approval, Sundale Holiday Park reserves the right to require the relevant persons to leave or charge the applicable additional guest fee.
4.3 Definition of Visitor
A “visitor” is a person who has not booked accommodation at Sundale Holiday Park but enters the Park to visit a registered guest.
4.4 Visitor Hours
Visitors must leave the Park by 9:00 PM.
If a visitor wishes to stay overnight, prior approval from Sundale Holiday Park is required and the applicable additional guest rate will apply.
Unauthorised overnight visitors will be charged:
Non-Peak Period: NZD $100 per person per night
Peak Period: NZD $200 per person per night
4.5 Visitor Parking
Visitors who wish to park a vehicle within the Park must register with Reception.
Visitor parking is subject to actual parking availability and is charged at NZD $20 per vehicle per day.
Chapter 5 - Common Areas and Facilities
5.1 Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is a seasonal facility and is generally open from 15 November to 31 March each year.
Opening hours are generally from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The specific opening dates, hours and availability may be adjusted due to weather, maintenance, operational arrangements or other circumstances, and the on-site notice will prevail.
The swimming pool fee is NZD $10 per person per 2-hour session.
Guests must complete payment and obtain the relevant wristband before using the swimming pool.
The swimming pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care for their own safety and must comply with the on-site safety rules.
Children using the swimming pool must be accompanied and appropriately supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Sundale Holiday Park is not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss or damage arising from a guest’s failure to comply with safety rules, inadequate supervision or other causes attributable to the guest.
5.2 Laundry
The guest laundry is open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Please use the laundry equipment correctly in accordance with the on-site instructions.
Guests may be required to pay reasonable repair, replacement or cleaning costs for damage to clothing, equipment or other property caused by improper use of the equipment.
5.3 Children’s Playground
The children’s playground is an unsupervised facility.
Children using the playground must be accompanied and appropriately supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Guests must comply with the on-site safety rules and equipment instructions.
5.4 Public BBQ Facilities
The public BBQ facilities must be booked in advance through Reception.
The fee is NZD $20 per session.
Available booking sessions are generally 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, 1:00 PM–4:00 PM, 4:00 PM–6:00 PM and 6:00 PM–8:00 PM.
Specific opening dates and available sessions are subject to facility availability.
After using the BBQ facilities, guests must clean the area and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
If the facilities are damaged through improper use or require additional cleaning due to significant stains or mess, Sundale Holiday Park reserves the right to charge reasonable additional cleaning, repair or replacement costs.
Chapter 6 - Smoking and Fire Safety
6.1 No Smoking
All indoor accommodation areas are strictly smoke-free.
Smoking, vaping and the use of any tobacco products are prohibited inside all accommodation units.
If designated smoking areas are provided within the Park, guests may smoke or vape only in those designated areas.
6.2 Smoking-related Charges
If additional cleaning, repair, odour removal, room restoration, fire service attendance or other reasonable costs arise because a guest has smoked or vaped in an accommodation area, those costs will be charged to the guest.
6.3 Open Flames and Heating Equipment
Candles, incense, mosquito coils, open flames, unauthorised portable heating equipment and any other equipment that may create a fire risk must not be used in accommodation areas.
Unauthorised open-flame activities are not permitted within the Park.
Fireworks and other activities that may create a fire risk must comply with Park rules and applicable local fire restrictions.
6.4 Fire Safety Equipment
Guests must not remove, obstruct, damage or tamper with smoke alarms, fire equipment or other emergency safety facilities.
6.5 Emergencies
In the event of a fire or other emergency, guests must immediately contact Reception and follow the instructions of Park staff and emergency services.
Guests must also comply with fire restrictions and safety requirements issued by Queenstown Lakes District and other relevant authorities.
Chapter 7 - Guest Conduct
7.1 Quiet Hours
Quiet hours at the Park are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning.
During these hours, guests must keep noise to a minimum and respect the rest of other guests.
If a reasonable noise complaint is received, Sundale Holiday Park management may contact the guest and require the noise to be reduced immediately.
7.2 Music and Noise
Amplified music is not permitted anywhere within the Park at any time.
During quiet hours, particular care must be taken to minimise noise from music, generators and vehicle activity.
7.3 Parties and Dangerous Behaviour
Sundale Holiday Park prohibits parties, large gatherings, unauthorised activities, illegal activities, violence or threatening behaviour, harassment, abusive behaviour, serious disruption to other guests, and any conduct that may create a safety risk to guests, staff or Park property.
7.4 Serious Breaches
If a guest or visitor seriously breaches these Terms, disrupts the normal stay of other guests, creates a safety risk or engages in unlawful conduct, Sundale Holiday Park reserves the right to require the relevant person to leave the Park immediately.
To the extent permitted by law, where a stay is terminated early due to a serious breach of these Terms by the guest, unused accommodation charges will generally not be refunded.
7.5 Prohibited Items and Conduct
Illegal drugs, weapons and unauthorised sources of fire must not be brought into or used within the Park.
Chapter 8 - Damage, Additional Charges and Lost Property
8.1 Property Damage
Guests must use and take reasonable care of accommodation, facilities, furniture, equipment and other Park property.
The booking guest is responsible for reasonable damage, repair, replacement, additional cleaning and other reasonable costs caused by the guest, accompanying guests or visitors.
8.2 Reporting Damage
If you discover damage, a fault or a maintenance issue in an accommodation unit or Park facility, please notify Reception as soon as possible.
If you accidentally cause damage, please also report it to staff as soon as possible. Prompt reporting helps the Park address the issue in a timely manner.
8.3 Unpaid Charges
If any accommodation charges, additional guest charges, visitor charges, damage charges, repair charges, cleaning charges or other amounts remain unpaid after departure, Sundale Holiday Park may charge the relevant amount to the original payment method in accordance with the guest’s authorised payment arrangements and applicable law.
If a guest disputes a charge, Sundale Holiday Park will provide an explanation of the charge as appropriate in the circumstances.
8.4 Keys
A charge of NZD $15 per key will apply for accommodation keys that are lost, damaged or not returned.
If the actual reasonable replacement or repair cost exceeds this amount, Sundale Holiday Park may charge the applicable reasonable cost to the extent permitted by law.
8.5 Lost Property
Sundale Holiday Park will retain lost property found on the Park for a reasonable period where practicable.
In general, lost property will be retained for up to 5 days.
If a guest contacts the Park within 5 days after check-out and advises how long the item needs to be retained and how it should be handled, Sundale Holiday Park will assist with retaining the item where reasonably practicable.
Where the guest has contacted the Park, lost property may be retained for up to 1 month.
8.6 Items Unsuitable for Long-term Storage
The following items may be disposed of immediately: food, beverages, perishable items, used personal hygiene products and other items unsuitable for long-term storage.
8.7 Return of Lost Property
Guests may arrange their own courier service to collect lost property and are responsible for all related courier, packaging and transportation costs.
Sundale Holiday Park does not arrange courier collection or pay courier fees on behalf of guests.
8.8 Unclaimed Property
Items that have exceeded the 5-day retention period, remain unclaimed and have not been subject to contact from the guest may be disposed of or discarded by Sundale Holiday Park without further notice.
Chapter 9 - Parking
9.1 Complimentary Parking
Each accommodation unit generally includes one complimentary parking space.
All vehicles must be parked in designated areas and must not obstruct roads, fire access routes, entrances or other guests.
9.2 Additional Vehicles
Vehicles exceeding the complimentary parking allowance require prior approval from Sundale Holiday Park.
Additional parking is subject to actual availability and is charged at NZD $10 per vehicle per day.
Unauthorised additional vehicles may be required to move to a designated area or leave the Park.
9.3 Vehicles and Personal Property
Guests are responsible for the security of their vehicles and personal property inside vehicles.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Sundale Holiday Park is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to vehicles or property inside vehicles caused by the guest’s own negligence, failure to lock the vehicle or other causes for which the Park is not responsible.
9.4 Improper Parking
Unauthorised or improperly parked vehicles may be required to be moved immediately.
The vehicle owner is responsible for any reasonable towing, administration or other costs arising from improper parking.
Chapter 10 - Pet Policy
Pets are permitted only at eligible Non-Peak Period campsites.
Under no circumstances may pets enter indoor accommodation areas.
10.1 Non-Peak Period Campsites
Guests wishing to bring a pet must contact Sundale Holiday Park before arrival to request approval and provide information requested by the Park, including the number of pets, their size and breed.
10.2 Approval
Permission to bring a pet is determined by Sundale Holiday Park on a case-by-case basis.
Any pet request may be declined due to the accommodation type, circumstances relating to the pet, Park operations or other reasonable grounds.
10.3 Pet Management
Approved pets must be properly controlled by their owner at all times and must not disturb other guests, create a safety risk to other persons, damage Park property or cause excessive noise.
10.4 Cleaning Responsibility
Pet owners must promptly clean up after their pets.
The pet owner is responsible for any reasonable repair, cleaning or replacement costs caused by the pet.
10.5 Pets Must Not Be Left Unattended
Pets must not be left alone or unattended anywhere within the Park.
10.6 Peak Period
Pets are not permitted at campsites during the Peak Period.
10.7 Indoor Accommodation
Pets are strictly prohibited from entering any indoor accommodation area or common indoor space.
10.8 Unauthorised Pets
If an unauthorised pet is found to have entered an indoor accommodation area, a minimum charge of NZD $500 will apply.
If additional reasonable cleaning, odour removal, repair or other costs are incurred, the guest will also be responsible for those costs.
10.9 Assistance Dogs
Nothing in this pet policy limits a guest’s rights to bring a legally recognised assistance dog as provided for under applicable New Zealand law.
Chapter 11 - Refusal of Accommodation and Termination of Stay
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sundale Holiday Park may refuse check-in, terminate a stay or require a person to leave the Park in the following circumstances:
11.1 False Information
The guest provides false, materially incomplete or misleading booking information.
11.2 Payment Issues
The booking has not been paid in full, or the guest is not authorised to use the payment method provided.
11.3 Over-occupancy
The actual number of guests exceeds the number confirmed in the booking or the maximum occupancy permitted for the accommodation unit, without approval from Sundale Holiday Park.
11.4 Unauthorised Visitors
An unauthorised overnight visitor is found, or a visitor breaches Park rules.
11.5 Serious Breaches
The guest or visitor intentionally damages Park property, seriously disrupts other guests, engages in unlawful conduct, threatens, harasses or uses violence against staff or other guests, or seriously breaches these Terms or Park safety rules.
If the stay is terminated as a result, the guest remains responsible for accommodation charges, additional charges, damage charges, repair charges, cleaning charges and other amounts incurred during the stay.
Chapter 12 - Safety and Liability
12.1 Personal Property
Guests are responsible for properly securing their personal belongings, valuables, vehicles and property inside vehicles.
12.2 Park Facilities
When using accommodation, common areas and Park facilities, guests must comply with on-site safety rules and take reasonable safety precautions.
12.3 Child Safety
Parents or legal guardians must provide appropriate supervision of children while they are on the Park, taking into account the child’s age and the activity environment.
Particular care and supervision must be maintained around swimming pools, children’s playgrounds, roads, waterways and other areas where potential risks may exist.
12.4 Natural Environment
Sundale Holiday Park is located in a natural environment, and the surrounding and nearby areas may include rivers, lakes, walking tracks, uneven terrain, slippery surfaces and other natural environmental risks.
Guests entering or using these areas must take reasonable safety precautions appropriate to the conditions.
12.5 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Sundale Holiday Park is not responsible for loss, injury or damage arising from the guest’s own conduct, negligence, failure to comply with safety requirements or other causes outside the reasonable control of Sundale Holiday Park.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under New Zealand law.
12.6 Events Beyond Our Control
If accommodation or related services are affected by events beyond the reasonable control of Sundale Holiday Park, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, flooding, fire, power outages, water supply interruptions, road closures, government directions, public infrastructure failures or other events that cannot reasonably be controlled, Sundale Holiday Park will provide assistance where reasonably practicable and take reasonable measures according to the circumstances.
Any rights the guest may have to a refund, alternative accommodation or other remedies will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law and the specific booking conditions.
Chapter 13 - Additional Bedding and Linen
13.1 Standard Bedding
Bedding and linen will be provided according to the number of guests and accommodation type confirmed at the time of booking.
For a double room occupied by two guests, unless otherwise stated for the room type, the room will generally include one standard double bed and corresponding bedding.
13.2 Additional Bedding
If additional bedding or a different bed configuration is required, please contact Reception before arrival.
Additional bedding and linen are subject to availability.
The approved charge for additional linen is NZD $15 per set.
Chapter 14 - Privacy
14.1 Personal Information
Sundale Holiday Park will collect, use, store and protect personal information in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy laws and the Sundale Holiday Park Privacy Policy.
14.2 Use of Information
To the extent permitted or required by law, Sundale Holiday Park may collect and use guests’ personal information to process and manage bookings, process payments, manage check-in and check-out, communicate with guests regarding bookings, manage Park operations and safety, respond to guest questions, complaints or requests, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
14.3 Third-Party Booking and Payment Services
Where a guest makes a booking or payment through an OTA, RMS Cloud or another third-party service, relevant personal information may be processed in accordance with that third-party service provider’s applicable terms and privacy policy.
14.4 Privacy Policy
For further information about how personal information is handled, please refer to the Sundale Holiday Park Privacy Policy.
Chapter 15 - Group Bookings
15.1 Group Bookings
Groups of 10 or more people should contact Sundale Holiday Park before booking so that suitable accommodation arrangements can be made based on the group size and requirements.
Different accommodation, payment and cancellation conditions may apply to group bookings depending on the circumstances.
15.2 Special Groups
Schools, sports teams, event groups and other special groups may be required to provide contact details for a responsible person and appropriate supervision and management arrangements.
Specific requirements will be confirmed separately according to the nature of the group and the booking circumstances.
Chapter 16 - Third-Party Booking Platforms
Sundale Holiday Park may accept bookings through third-party travel and booking websites.
Where a guest makes a booking through Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb or another third-party platform, that platform’s own terms, payment arrangements and cancellation policy may also apply to the booking.
Where the applicable conditions of a third-party platform differ from these Terms, the specific conditions displayed to the guest at the time of booking and applicable to that booking will prevail.
Bookings made through third-party platforms generally need to be amended or cancelled through the original booking platform in accordance with its procedures.
Chapter 17 - Updates to Terms and Governing Law
17.1 Updates to Terms
Sundale Holiday Park may update these Terms from time to time according to operational requirements and applicable law.
17.2 Applicable Version
For future new bookings, the latest version of the Terms published on the website will apply.
For bookings that have already been confirmed, the Terms and relevant booking conditions applicable at the time of booking confirmation may continue to apply, unless otherwise permitted by law or agreed between the parties.
17.3 New Zealand Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
17.4 Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between a guest and Sundale Holiday Park, both parties should first attempt to resolve the matter through direct communication and good-faith discussion.
If the matter cannot be resolved, the parties may, depending on the circumstances, seek an applicable New Zealand dispute resolution process or bring the matter before a court with appropriate jurisdiction.
17.5 Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, limit or modify any consumer rights, guarantees, liabilities or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, limited or modified under New Zealand law.
